Simone is February Artist Spotlight on SPAWN! The original covers will be exhibited at CArt Gallery in Rome.

Simone painted the covers for all 4 SPAWN titles for the month of February! The 4 original covers published in the U.S. will be exhibited at CArt Gallery, in Rome, starting March 4 as part of the exhibition "The Devil in the Details: Spawn by Simone Bianchi." In addition to the paintings, preliminaries and preparatory sketches will also be exhibited. Two other painted covers of Spawn, which will be published in the coming months, will also be shown in preview. Exclusively for the exhibition, over the past months Simone has created 3 reinterpretations of as many historical Spawn covers, of which both the final painting and preparatory sketches will be exhibited. Finally, on the opening day, Saturday, March 4, 2023, the first official CGC cover-signing in Italy of Simone's comic books will be organized at the Gallery. Copertina variant dell'album EXUVIA versione pop-up di Caparezza

Simone ha collaborato alla versione pop-up dell'album Exuvia di Caparezza, uscito il 14 Gennaio 2021, dipingendo sia la copertina di questa versione variant che il popup interno. Si tratta di 2 quadri, le cui idee e sviluppo sono nati dalla collaborazione e il dialogo tra Caparezza e Simone, che ne hanno insieme scritto una sorta di piccola sceneggiatura, in modo che tutti gli elementi fondamentali dell'album fossero presenti.

Personal exhibition at the Metropolis Gallery in Manhattan

On Friday October 8th, during NYCC week, a personal exhibition opened at Metropolis Gallery in Manhattan. About 60 original art pieces were exhibited, divided in paintings, interiors, comics covers and preliminary sketches. The exhibition lasted for 3 months and closed on January 31st at 36 West 37th Street, 6th Floor, New York City.

Personal exhibition "Amazing Talent" in Città di Castello, Italy

On September 12th an axhibit of original artworks made by Simone over the last decades has opened at at the prestigious Palazzo Vitelli a Sant'Egidio; more than 220 pieces, from preliminary artworks to painted illustrations will be displayed, a few of which had never been seen before and were painted on purpose. The exhibition is  curated by the great art and culture journalist Vincenzo Mollica and lasts until October 25th.

Personal exhibition at the Marco Lucchetti Art Gallery in Lugano, Switzerland

On January 24th an exhibition entitled MOTU PROPRIO will open at the Marco Lucchetti Art Gallery in Lugano, Switzerland. About 30 original art pieces from Simone's latest production will be exhibited and among them a few he has painted on purpose for the show, like a 26' x 17,7' Spider-Man and a 20' x 14,1' Wolverine, both acrylic on illustration board. On January 25th at 2,30 pm Simone will be guest at the DADIX COMICS AND MANGA SHOP in Lugano to meet the comic book readers and sign the new Sharkey the Bounty Hunter issues, as well as all previous comic books.
