SIMONE PAINTS AN OFFICIAL POSTER FOR THE SMASHING PUMPKINS TOUR

"Before the summer I get an email from the manager in charge of the Smashing Pumpkins' image on tour. He had seen the poster I had made for Tool and wanted me to make one for them as well. They gave me complete freedom on the themes and colors to use, so I went back to the iconography of their covers and the kind of image they had in the 90s. To make this illustration I took a cue from Moebius. The main character cannot see; his eyes are outside his body. They are behind, in the background and are able to get a full view of the world. The band really liked it and without editing some it became the poster for the Denver date."
